In this tip I use my trusty S&W M&P Pro Series 9mm to set up and break down a stage in USPSA production competition for a beginner shooter. Then I offer advice on ways to improve your time by setting up into positions efficiently, eliminating a reload and shooting on the move. At the end, I compare my times for both the basic breakdown and the advanced plan.

From Shooting USA

Learning how to shoot a course of fire takes practice, time and some ammo. So breaking down the stage of fire into its finer points will help simplify the game and speed up your times. Smith & Wesson Team Captain Julie Golob has a Pro Tip to help out those new USPSA shooters.

You can read the entire transcript from the shooting tip with pictures or, better yet, watch it on Wednesday night at the range on the Outdoor Channel at 2:00 PM, 9:00 PM, 12:00 AM EST!
