Living in northeastern Montana, I don’t exactly have many gourmet hot spots to frequent. Since moving here cooking has become a necessity, but it is also a hobby I enjoy. It also allows me to combine my love of hunting with experimenting in the kitchen.

Thanks + Giving

I have so much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving – a wonderful husband, delightful daughter, amazing family, great friends, the support of awesome companies – SO much to be thankful for. I am especially thankful for my parents. I wouldn’t be who I am today if it weren’t for my mom and dad. Both my parents have been incredibly supportive, but it was my dad who introduced me to the world of competition shooting and hunting.

My First Mule Deer Buck

I’ve been a whitetail hunter since I was young. Moving to Montana and living not too far from the Milk River I’ve had some memorable seasons filling the freezer. I enjoy the peaceful nature of whitetail hunting – watching the deer, learning their patterns and the challenge of being completely still and silent.
