I love the holidays. It’s a time of year when the spirit of generosity thrives and people make gifts of their time, money or even a little bit of themselves. This season has already been very special for me. I was able to make a twelve inch hair donation to Locks of Love. Open-Faced Bagel with Venison
Several friends have encouraged me to share dishes I have made with venison. Let’s face it, it’s not something you often see in your typical cookbook. I don’t profess to be a chef by any means, but I do enjoy finding new ways to make the meat in the freezer even more delicious.

Holiday Mail for Heroes
I love this time of year! For me it’s a time to reflect, give and be thankful. I’ve made a couple of changes to my usual holiday regimen this season.
