30th Anniversary NRA Bianchi Cup
The 30th Anniversary Bianchi Cup is over, but I know the memories will stay with me for a lifetime. I love this match and it is one of my all time favorites. I think part of the reason is that, unlike many other action shooting sports, there is a perfect score to attain. Knowing what that score is and being able to work towards it is a great motivator for me. Bianchi Cup Update – Day 3
What an exciting day at the range! Rob Leatham cleaned the plates and took the Metallic Division. Dave Sevigny claimed the Production title. In a nail biter finish, Bruce Piatt edged out Doug Koenig by one X on the Mover Event to win the coveted Bianchi Cup.I shot two events today, the Barricade and the Practical. The Barricade went well and I cleaned it. After a quick trip back to the practice range to double check my zero, I discovered my scope clicked out of elevation after each shot. Bianchi Cup Update – Day 2
It was another great day at the range. I shot the Plate Event and was squadded with the reigning world action pistol ladies champion, Helen Jeavons and USPSA/SCSA ladies champion Jessie Abbate. There are so many lady shooters this year! My run went very well and I downed all 48 plates.Other highlights – Rob Leatham cleaned the barricade in the Metallic Division arguably the hardest event for iron sight guns.
